It's baseball time again!

Cam has the most awesome baseball coaches ever! I mentioned today at practice how I might need to help him look where he needs to look in order to follow their directions on the field, and his coaches said they already noticed that and were going to work with him... They went on to say, they've coached Cam for 3 years and they'll take care of him, and see to it he knows whats going own. How wonderful!

He is so cute out there playing ball. Sorry you guys, but I'll be living at the ball field for the next few months, your going to hear a lot about it... :)

Keep posting about baseball. My son's finished with little league so it will be a trip down memory lane for me. My son and I watched the funniest video on YouTube about little league. I will have to ask him for it and give you the link.
You're doing a wonderful job of advocating for your son and communicating his needs. I'm so glad you have terrific, understanding coaches. That makes such a difference to how your son and the whole team in fact will enjoy their season win or lose.

yes Sarah, having great coaches is wonderful... this is going to be a fun season I can just tell. How old is your son?

I found the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXLUncbZKbs
It's by a stand up comedian recalling his days in right field dreaming of the snow cone after the game.
Hope you enjoy it. Watch it first and see if your son would find it funny or not. Maybe it would be better for when he's older but I think you will get a kick out of it.
All the best,
Sarah

I was an outstanding baseball player. Although not a great hitter, I could pitch.

Not being able to hear well actually made me better by forcing me to be more attentive.

And I stole a fair amount of the other team's strategy by lipreading.

Your son has good, patient coaches, that is great.
I hope he does well.

My son never played baseball, but he did play basketball for a short time, and he likes flag football.
